Welcome to Crazy Racing — where getting to the finish line is only half the fun.

Crazy Racing is a fast, lighthearted racing game where a collection of ridiculous personalities compete to see who can be the craziest racer on the track.

Every racer plays differently. Roll four six-sided dice, record the results, then use your racer's unique movement pattern to determine which dice drive your move. Average the selected dice, move toward the finish, and decide when to unleash your racer's special once-per-race ability.

And these racers definitely have personality.

Race as the Drunken Duck, Enormous Elephant, Micro Mouse, Robber Raccoon, Crazy Crane, Huge Hedgehog, Cranky Crab, Graceful Gazelle, Pondering Panda, Great Grape Ape, Rampaging Rhino, or even Dennis — the thoroughly confused human who somehow ended up in the race. Each has their own movement pattern and ability, so choosing a different racer changes how you approach the same dice rolls.

Abilities can send racers forward or backward, swap positions, interfere with an opponent's movement, or protect you from somebody else's plans. That means the race can change quickly — and being comfortably ahead doesn't necessarily mean you're staying there.

A game consists of three races, with the player winning the most races becoming the overall winner. If everybody manages to tie, Crazy Racing provides several highly sophisticated solutions — including rolling a die, Rock Paper Scissors, agreeing that you're all wonderfully crazy, or simply racing again.

Crazy Racing is designed to be easy to learn, quick to play, and full of personality.

What you'll need

The downloadable game provides the printable Crazy Racing components. You'll also need four six-sided dice, a marker for each racer, and some friends willing to accept that a hedgehog, raccoon, elephant, drunken duck, and one extremely bewildered human constitute a perfectly legitimate racing field.
